AMC in talks to buy Malone's Starz, Bloomberg says

Amid a consolidating pay-TV operator landscape, two of the programming industry's smaller fish are back in talks about joining forces.

Bloomberg reported that AMC Networks has returned to the bargaining table with media mogul John Malone to talk about possibly acquiring his Starz premium programming service. The combined company would gain leverage in negotiating carriage fees from pay-TV operators. Article
