Apple TV experiences Netflix glitch

Starting late last week and over the holiday weekend, some Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) members reported trouble streaming video through Apple TV boxes. Netflix confirmed to Wired that some users were having problems, though the situation appeared to be mostly resolved by a download of new Apple TV software.

Cable TV operators would not mind seeing both of these companies hit a few bumps in the service quality road. There may be little stopping Netflix at this point, but Apple TV is still a young platform in a very crowded marketplace.
