Brightcove president and COO sees growth opportunity for OVP

Online video platform Brightcove (Nasdaq: BCOV), in February, became a public company. Its IPO raised $55 million in cash for the OVP, giving it some additional capital for growth and new product development. The Cambridge, Mass.-based company had earlier rolled out a new product, App Cloud, and has since announced some new customers. FierceOnlineVideo and FierceIPTV editor Jim O'Neill recently caught up with David Mendels, the company's president and COO, to talk about what's been happening to the company for the past several months.
