Google's (NASDAQ: GOOG) increased lobbying influence in Washington, particularly in matters relating to telecom, is attracting attention. And lobbyists are starting to grumble a little more loudly these days.
"It seems that whatever Google wants, Google gets from [the FCC]," an unnamed broadcast industry lobbyist told TV News Check.
"What's frustrating is this gut reaction among regulators that if Google says something, it's good, but if a traditional media company says something, it's questionable," added another broadcast industry source.
