BT adds more content to IPTV offering

Following last month's big content deals with BBC Worldwide, Paramount and Warner Music Group, British Telecom inked deals with National Geographic Channel and British children's television giants HIT Entertainment and Nelvana. BT said more content deals are on the way as it prepares for its IPTV service launch later this fall. BT's service will use Microsoft software and an STB from Philips. BT said its service will be deployed nationwide and will not require monthly subscriptions.
