CenturyLink's Seattle outage enters third day

CenturyLink's (NYSE: CTL) Seattle customers are now in their third day without internet and TV service. CenturyLink competes with Comcast and Wave Broadband in Seattle.

Local subscribers to the company's FTTH Internet service and IPTV video platform first reported an outage on Sunday afternoon. Comments posted on downdetector.com reveal that customers in North Seattle are still experiencing problems.

"Service was restored in a couple of impacted communities on Sunday evening," a CenturyLink spokesperson told FierceTelecom. "We continue to work with a small number of customers who are still having problems." Article
