Charter bolsters DiGeronimo's product and strategy team

Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) continues to bolster the product and strategy team under its newly promoted chief, Rich DiGeronimo.

The MSO has hired former Starz executive Jason Wyrick as VP, application and development, where he'll oversee user experience development for all Charter products.

Jason Colwell, who most recently served in CableLabs' network technology department, has been hired as VP, wireless products. He'll be responsible for Charter's overall wireless strategies, including residential and public Wi-Fi.

The MSO also hired Basil Badawiyeh as senior director, media products. Badawiyeh, who most recently worked at RGB Networks as VP of multiscreen advertising, will be responsible for the media roadmap, product management and delivery of Charter's advertising product suites.

Meanwhile, Peter Brown has been promoted to VP, user experience design.

"Each brings valuable experience and a skill set that will be instrumental to Charter as we continue the design, development and deployment of innovative products that redefine the customer experience," DiGeronimo said in a statement.
