After suffering through 14 months of slings and arrows as it attempted its own mega-merger with Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC), Comcast (NASDAQ: CHTR) is experiencing life as the hammer rather than the nail.
In a new TV commercial promoting its X1 video platform, Comcast pokes a little fun at the combined AT&T-DirecTV (NYSE: T). "From the people that brought you underwhelming Internet speeds, and the people who brought you temperamental satellite television -- introducing -- underwhelming Internet speeds and temperamental satellite television -- in one," says a deep-voiced narrator in the ad. "Welcome to the moment no one's been waiting for."
