Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) became the latest major ISP to sign an interconnection agreement with Internet transit provider Level 3 Communications, with the two companies looking to beat the clock on new FCC net neutrality guidelines that are set to become effective starting in June.
With the deal, Comcast and Level 3 say they'll enhance their network capacities and ability to handle exchanges of traffic between their respective networks. FierceTelecom's Sean Buckley has a full write-up on this deal here.
