Comcast to deliver EA games through X1, report says

Comcast will soon begin streaming EA games to its X1 subscribers, according to DSLReports, which cites an inside source. "The service is in testing now and is slated to roll to a subscriber beta to 100,000 random customers on July 30," the source told the blog.

Comcast and EA have been working in partnership since 2013 to develop such a game-streaming service, the report added. The service will offer a suite of 40 to 50 games that can be played directly on X1 set-tops using iOS or Android mobile devices as controllers. You can read the full blog post here.
