Current.tv makes its U.K. debut

Al Gore's Current.tv has found its way across the pond and is coming to the U.K. market through Sky and Virgin Media. Current claims to be the first channel created by and for 18- to 34-year-olds. It first launched in the U.S. back in 2005 and has a potential audience of 40 million homes here. Current's version of the news is stats from Google's search engine, updates on the most-searched terms and clips of popular Google news stories.
