OTT video platform provider Endavo Media has been chosen by newly launched music and video site TheCoolTV--a 24/7 music network that brings a local angle to its music content--to help it deliver live and on-demand concerts to viewers. TheCoolTV is ramping up delivery to 34 new markets and more than 23 million homes through a carriage deal it reached with Sinclair Television Group in February.
While TheCoolTV has national appeal, it also allows markets to broadcast local concerts to PC, TV and mobile screens. Currently its broadcasting presence reaches Las Vegas, San Francisco, Milwaukee, Palm Springs and Tucson.
"Endavo Media has allowed us to facilitate a cross-platform push of our premium concert content," said John Pelaez, SVP and cofounder of TheCoolTV.
The online content is managed through Endavo Media's OTT Video Services Platform. Endavo expands online viewing options for programming by including social media features, such as sharing of content, commenting, chatting, and much more, to connect with and grow the audience.
