Espial and Amino have joined forces to provide an "innovative" set-top box solution for Allin Interactive, which boasts many clients in the cruise ship industry. Espial's middleware EVO solution will run atop the underlying Amino IntAct IPTV platform. Allin says the AmiNET110H STB with Espial's software will make it easier to develop and rapidly deploy products for its cruise ship clientèle. Allin's $340 million in interactive TV revenue last year came from deployments for The Mayo Clinic, Royal Caribbean International, Costa Crociere, Celebrity Cruises and Carnival Cruise Line.
