The over-the-top online video movement is still evolving, which means strategies for distribution, integration and monetization need to remain very flexible and broadly applicable for now. ExtendMedia is one of the companies trying to help telcos make sense of the evolving environment, and the company just announced Version 3.5 of its OpenCase multi-screen video monetization platform, which can support both paid and ad-supported service models while making the most of existing telco infrastructure for billing and authentication.
