FTTH module maker ColorChip raises $9.5M

ColorChip, a developer of glass-based PLC chips and modules for FTTH networks, announced it has closed a $9.5 million round of VC funding led by Bessemer Venture partners and Motorola Ventures, the VC arm of Motorola. Existing investors Eurofund, Polytechnos and Walden also contributed to the round. ColorChip said the cash will help the company move beyond R&D and into mass production mode.
