Heavy Reading to announce research results

TelcoTV 2008 is operated by the parent firm of Light reading and Heavy Reading, so both the publication and its research affiliate are heavily (not lightly) involved in the event. One of the key agenda items for IPTV sector participants looking for more market intelligence will be the Day One unveiling of results from Heavy Reading's Consumer Research Study, "Is IPTV Ready for the Prime Time Consumer?"

The results come from a survey finished up late last month, and should offer insights into the following issues: The mindset of pay TV subscribers after the credit crunch has hit the U.S.; the status of current pay TV subscriptions; factors in customer choice of TV providers; factors in custmer churn; customer satisfaction for existing services, and customer interest in new services, among other issues.
