Video service assurance specialist IneoQuest Technologies has added iVMS ASM to its Video Service Assurance Solution for Multiscreen Video, which it says is the industry' first end-to-end video management system for adaptive streaming video networks.
The company said iWMS ASM, which collects and aggregates an array of performance metrics and statistics on a per video asset basis (live or VOD) from its probing technologies, provides a complete view into the health of the adaptive streaming video network and helps to assure service and quality for Multiscreen and Over-The-Top (OTT) video delivery.
The technology will be on display at IP&TV World Forum 2012 from March 20-22, 2012 in London's Olympia Exhibition Center.
The IneoQuest solution monitors both QoS and QoE throughout the entire multiscreen network, including within connected devices such as smart phones, tablets, connected TVs and video game systems.
Service and content providers can use the software, IneoQuest said, to quickly identify QoS and QoE impairments within the multiscreen and OTT video network in real-time.
