IPTV services to change PayTV DRM sector

According to a recent report from Research and Markets, the increasing proliferation of IPTV services worldwide is changing the market dynamics of the DRM sector. The report finds that while short term competition with traditional DRM and conditional access companies in the cable and satellite space is ripe for new entrants, the best bet for new entrants is the emerging IPTV market. IPTV services will enable users to transfer content across many devices and DRM needs to keep up with that trend.
