Latest online video comer, Babelgum, launches

Babelgum, a peer-to-peer TV service launched its services this week, but only in beta mode, of course. Italian telecoms magnate Silvio Scaglia is the financier behind Babelgum, which hopes to make money from ad-supported channels and revenue share monies from content providers. Babelgum is giving away beta testing rights at random right now, but to sign up a user only needs to own a PC, to answer a few questions and to have enough space to download a 13 MB application.
