LG developing new version of WebOS for its smart TVs

Following its acquisition of Hewlett-Packard's WebOS business, South Korean consumer electronics maker LG Electronics will unveil next year a new version of the software that will power all of its high-end smart TVs and many of its Internet-connected appliances.
