Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) has launched a new feature for its X1 set-top boxes that lets subscribers beta test new products before they're deployed. Accessible via the X1's settings menu, the Comcast Labs section currently has four different product developments available for test-driving, including a Netflix-like feature that lets VOD binge-watchers seamlessly transition from one episode to the next.
