DENVER—While there was plenty of discussion about the future of old-guard MVPDs and new-fangled vMVPDs at Fierce's first annual Pay TV Show, one digital distribution model consistently stood out: the a la carte platform Amazon Channels.

In one of the event's most compelling events, Cheddar CEO Jon Steinberg sat down for a fireside chat with the man overseeing this fast-growing platform, Richard Au, Amazon's director of prime video channels and sports in the U.S.
