Prairie Grove taps Clearfield for FTTH

Arkansas' Prairie Grove Telephone Company has tapped vendor Clearfield as its fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network equipment supplier for new network build-out in northwest Arkansas. The project area covers some of the telco's 8,500 customers and about five exchanges. PGTelco will run a numbers of services over the FTTH network, and though it is not offering IPTV with its initial build-out, the company indicates in a Clearfield press release that an IPTV offering might be coming soon.
