Report: AT&T developing STB/femtocell

AT&T reportedly is working on an integrated U-verse IPTV set-top box and femtocell to create a single unit for TV programming access and enhanced wireless coverage within the home. Femtocells are suddenly all the rage, and the STB/femtocell integration could be an exciting prospect, futher changing the role STBs usually play in the home. Anything that grants a bit more space in the entertainment center will be fine by most customers.
