Report: Netflix accounts for 34% of all North American traffic in the evening

As the FCC prepares to grapple with new rules for the Internet, Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) announced that is consuming more Internet capacity every day. New data from a Sandvine found that Netflix traffic accounted for 34 percent of North America's downloads during peak evening hours this year, up from 32 percent in the latter half of last year.
