Romtelecom preps IPTV service

Romanian telco Romtelecom already operates a successful satellite TV service in its home market, competing against IPTV service provider iNES, but local reports in Romania suggest that the telco plans to launch IPTV services later this year. Romtelecom reportedly is conducting trials and mulling equipment choices.
