Rumor Mill: Cisco to scoop up Israeli IPTV platform?

According to a report over at Light Reading, it seems like Cisco may make a play for Israeli service delivery platform company Integra5. The companies are playing coy, of course, but Light Reading seems to think something is in the works because of the growing speculation that Cisco plans to beef up its IPTV offering for telcos, and Integra5 has a piece of the puzzle the mega-vendor needs. Oh, and Cisco and Scientific Atlanta also include the small start-up's SDPs in all of their demos at shows. Integra5's software lets cable and telco operators develop and deliver converged video, voice and broadband services like video caller ID. Cisco says there's no formal relationship, while Integra5 says to expect an announcement about its relationship with Cisco in the near future.
