SeaChange has filed and secured a U.S. patent for a software application that makes it easier for subscribers to navigate through video on demand libraries. The patent claim is embodied in SeaChange's Channel Overlay application, which organizes a viewers experience according to the program currently being watched. At the push of a button, the app overlays relevant VOD video with a menu of hotlinks to jump to the related material.
