A recent study by Canalys found that Western Europe leads the rest of the world in IPTV subscribers because of the increased investment in the technology in that region. Western Europe accounts for nearly two-thirds of the world's subscribers. Total worldwide subscribers stand at 3.6 million with worldwide IPTV revenues at $1 billion a year. Article
