In what is perhaps a sure sign the battle lines are drawn, a new acronym is borne out of Web portals like Google and Yahoo!'s recent foray into video over IP. Some are calling it TV over IP, or TVOIP. This (hopefully) won't gain any traction since its similarity to VoIP is too confusing. Also, IPTV is set to become another IMS powered app--do you think triple plays will really offer VoIP, TVOIP and DOIP (data over IP)?
