SPOTLIGHT: Network TV soon: maybe

Network Internet TV is much talked about, but not yet here as players baulk at committing resources until the business model becomes clear. Diffusion Group says there will be 160 million internet TV's by 2012--half of which will be connected by game consoles--but there are many issues to be sorted before then. TV manufacturers are now just starting to ship with internet connections. Consumers already have a variety of devices to connect to the net with, including STB's, game consoles and media PC's, but to date there is little consumer demand to begin hooking up. And of course once connected how does it all work if I want to watch HDTV in my study?  Most importantly who is going to make money out of all this? I want my ITV: Report
