TWC launches VOD in small markets
Time Warner Cable deployed its first small-market VOD services using technology from Tandberg Television. Tandberg, an Atlanta-based division of Ericsson, provided its OpenStream platform for remote management of VOD. TWC will originate and control its VOD offerings from Denver and tailor them to its various small markets. Four markets are live now, with 14 more on deck. Press Release
