Tandberg Television Q3

Last quarter, Tandberg Television quarterly revenues came in at a full 20 percent lower than analysts' expectations and many pointed to the earnings as a sign of the sluggishness of IPTV deployments--so what are they going to say now? Tandberg's Q3 earnings look stellar: Sales rose to $109.6 million, up from 91.2 million last year. Operating profits rose to $24.9 million from last year's $23.6 million. CEO Fredrik Halvorsen extolled his company's stronger than anticipated quarter because "the productivity value of video gained traction and drove rapid adoption in the US federal government."
