Time Warner Cable hires industry vet Zelesko

Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) has hired former Joost CEO cand cable TV industry veteran Matthew Zelesko to be the operator's Senior Vice President, Web Services & Technology.

At one time, Zelesko was vice president of engineering at Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) Interactive Media, and was the technology executive behind the launch of Comcast' much-lauded Fancast portal. Zelesko actually took over Joost after the company had burned through initial funding, but successfully guided it to be acquired by Adconion Media Group.
