TV measurement more sociable with SocialGuide

As TV service providers, programmers and application developers are offering more ways to integrate social media and networking with the TV viewing experience, they will want more tools to measure the effects and benefits of their endeavors. Start-ups are suddenly racing to meet this need.

SocialGuide is the latest entry to try to meet that need, offering a daily ranking of programs, networks and sporting events based on the loevel of social media engagement the attract.

SocialGuide isn't the only such tool. Bluefin Labs announced is own rating system earlier this month. Also, Trendrr has become a popular tool for tarcking the effect of Twitter and the impact of TV-related tweets.
