Verizon and Consolidated top Q3 latency report

Along with availability and throughput, latency is one of the most important factors dictating network performance.

With that in mind, FierceTelecom -- through a new partnership with Internet measurement and real-time performance optimization solutions provider Cedexis -- has published a report, revealing how the top seven U.S. wireline networks performed in the third quarter in terms of latency.

Cedexis measured networks against five CDNs (Akamai, Limelight, Edgecast, Level 3 and Highwinds). Cedexis also measured performance in each region of the country. You can read the full FierceTelecom report here.
