Verizon bets on winner in net neutrality fight

What's good for the Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) is good for the Verizon (NYSE: VZ). Helgi Walker, the star attorney of Comcast's smashing net neutrality victory over the FCC, has been added to Verizon's legal lineup in its own net neutrality battle with the feds.

"They'd be crazy not to hire her--she's already won once on this very issue," Gigi Sohn president of Public Knowledge told Politico. "The legal arguments are gong to be extraordinarily similar, so why wouldn't you re-sign your home run hitter?"

Walker has challenged the FCC's net neutrality order as a wireless license modification so it could be heard by the same court that heard the Comcast case.
