Verizon furthers FiOS TV-mobile phone integration

Verizon Communications is set to roll out a feature for FiOS TV allowing Verizon Wireless WiFi-enabled mobile phones to serve as TV remote control devices, Dow Jones Newswires reported. The report said Verizon also announced a FiOS TV service, the latest in a string of recent upgrades, that supports a recommendation engine for on-demand video, more TV widgets and other capabilities.
