Verizon's Shammo: We're not worried about Freewheel, other cable Wi-Fi products

Speaking at the Deutsche Bank Media, Internet & Telecom Conference, Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) CFO Fran Shammo had a less-than-panicked take on the cable industry's emerging entry into the wireless-communications market. "Cable companies will probably execue on some type of an MVNO for Wi-Fi, but we don't believe it will be a replacement for LTE." FierceWireless listened in on Shammo's complete interview Tuesday and has a full report here.
