5min Media teams with Answers.com for premium video Q&A site

Video syndication platform 5min Media is partnering with Q&A site Answers.com (NASDAQ: ANSW), which includes the properties WikiAnswers and ReferenceAnswers, to launch video.answers.com, which includes up to 200,000 premium videos from 5min Media's syndication library.

5min Media, which has syndicated videos on Answers.com for over a year, expanded its relationship with the answer engine by providing a comprehensive video solution that includes its vast library of syndicated video content, VideoSeed. The partnership enables both companies to improve monetization for media content served on Answers.com.

"Our mission is to offer answers about anything, accessible on a range of platforms and formats," said Answeers.com chairman and CEO, Bob Rosenschein. "5min Media provides us the opportunity to offer answers in video form in addition to our community-generated and reference content."
