AT&T says it's ready for mobile video onslaught

Tier 1 carrier AT&T (NYSE: T), whose wireless network just a few years ago was criticized for being unreliable, is ready to handle the increasing traffic demands imposed by online video viewing. That's according to John Donovan, SVP of technology and operations, who told investors at the Citi Global Internet, Media & Telecommunications conference that AT&T has dramatically improved its usage forecasting capability. "We're world class now as knowing what our need is going to be," he said. FierceWireless has the details in this story.
