As the health-care industry continues to grow, video search engine blinkx is moving to take advantage of a market segment that hasn't gotten a lot of attention in the medical online video industry. Partnering with NBC Digital Health Network, icyou and, blinkx is making online medical and health-related videos easier to reach.

"With so many people turning their attention online to research personal health, we're happy to add so much informative medical content to our index," said blinkx founder and CEO Suranga Chandratillake, in a prepared statement. "We think health enthusiasts and hypochondriacs alike will find this type of video content extremely useful."
