Online video platform Brightcove is teaming up with analytics and syndication service TubeMogul to provide in-depth insight into viewer engagement and behavior. Brightcove will use TubeMogul's InPlay technology on its recently launched Brightcove 4 platform to deliver detailed analytics to all its customers.
The companies say the collaboration will include the development of new analytics offerings and premium products, as well as setting up co-marketing and sales activities between the two companies for the future.
"In today's new era of video ubiquity on the Web, all organizations need a deep understanding of how their video content is being consumed in order to generate additional value from their online video initiatives," Jeremy Allaire, Brightcove chairman and CEO said in a prepared statement.
