CollegeHumor, Electus combine to create Electus Digital

IAC's CollegeHumor and some of its Electus properties are merging to form Electus Digital. The new venture will produce video entertainment targeting 18-34 year-olds for distribution on multiple platforms.

IAC sites,,, the YouTube channels WatchLOUD, Neuvon and Hungry as well as production companies Big Breakfast and dumbdumb will make up the new venture, the companies said in a press release.

"As one team, we are now able to deliver even more inventive, high-quality programming to more fans across all platforms," said Drew Buckley, Electus' chief operating officer and the executive in charge of Electus Digital.

The company will continue to produce new video for those sites, but is also adapting CollegeHumor's long-running Web for TV with TBS.

"As CollegeHumor, we mastered the art of the Internet short. Now as Big Breakfast, we mean to master the arts of film and TV," said Sam Reich, Big Breakfast's president. Reich led original content development at CollegeHumor.
