FierceOnlineVideo Movers and Shakers alum Funny or Die has launched a Funny or Die branded YouTube channel, featuring a selection of hit videos from its website. Funny or Die co-founders, Will Ferrell and Adam McKay kick off the launch, appearing in a special video, and as guest editors of YouTube's Home Page "Spotlight" section.
"We are very excited to distribute a sub set of our videos through YouTube," said Funny or Die CEO Dick Glover. "As one of the premiere names in comedy it seemed like the right time to launch a Funny or Die branded channel."
All Funny or Die produced videos will continue to premiere on the Funny or Die website. Following an exclusive window there, the videos will then appear globally in Funny or Die's YouTube channel for a limited time.
The Funny or Die website has averaged more than five million unique views per month and features hundreds of exclusive comedy videos.
