Former Time Warner Cable chief Britt passes away

Glenn BrittTime Warner Cable's former chairman and CEO, Glenn Britt, passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 65. Britt led the cable operator from 2001 until December 2013, building it from a Time Warner division to a stand-alone company with $21 billion in revenue. He retired just a month and a half before the operator's $45 billion merger deal with Comcast was announced. FierceCable has more details here.
