Ooyala teams with digital agency Createthe Group

Online video platform Ooyala is working with digital agency Createthe Group on a technology and reseller partnership that will grow both brands and drive business results for Createthe Group clients.

The company develops digital strategies for their clients' presence online. Createthe Group will standardize Ooyala video technologies to publish, analyze and drive revenue through video.

"Over the past couple of months, Createthe Group has been one of several agencies using our tools to engage their customers' customers," Bismarck Lepe, Oooyala's President of Products, told FierceOnlineVideo. "Createthe Group has launched really interesting implementations on a couple of different sites; they're also starting to leverage live streaming and twitter feed to engage their customers."

What Createthe Group was looking for with Ooyala, said Lepe, was a way to brand the platform they use, and to scale video implementations for fashion.

"Sight, sound, and motion are import to capture brand essence," Lepe said. "They saw in us the ability to deliver high quality video to all screens. And, they saw in our API the opportunity to be flexible, which is important for most of these implementations. They wanted to be able to create a look and feel at scale so they can launch new brands very quickly."

Createthe Group said it sees video as more than a one off.

"Video brings brands to life online. For our clients, it provides a powerful way to engage their consumers and create distinct, immersive digital experiences," Allen Kung, CTO and Co-founder of Createthe Group said. "Ooyala allows our clients and internal teams to efficiently publish and manage video, and it gives us deeper insights into how consumers are engaging with the brand so that we can continuously enhance our digital strategies. Ooyala offers the right technologies and they understand our business and our work."

Createthe Group's clients include brands such as designers Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and numerous others.
