PGA Championship video soars despite Tiger's tumble

Did you tune into the PGA Championship to see Tiger Woods win a major--the only thing this side of death and taxes that seems to be constant and inevitable--or in the hope you could watch Tiger choke for once? He did choke, though he has a ways to go before challnging Phil Mickelson for the title of Champion Choker. In any case, for one reason or another, a lot of people over the four-day tournament were keeping an eye on the Turner Sports online viewing resources, which include PGA.com, Yahoo and picture-in-picture streams, according to NewTeeVee. Video streams from Turner Sports amounted to 3.4 million, which included a record 2.4 million live player streams. PGA.com's daily unique visitors during the period also were up 94 percent from last year's tourney.
