Sony Picture's Crackle App for iOS devices delivers some pop

Sony Pictures this week delivered on its long-promised Crackle app for Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhones, iPads and iPod touch devices, giving users access to ad-supported full-length, unedited Hollywood films and television series.

The app includes more than 200 titles from Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Screen Gems and Sony Pictures Classics. Crackle also includes a diverse selection of TV episodes and original programming.

The Crackle App is optimized to take full advantage of the features of iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, making Crackle's collection of programming easily accessible anytime, anywhere. Consumers can easily discover Crackle's content by browsing by movies, TV, originals or genres or via keyword search.
