Some 6,500 videos were entered into this weekend’s Vimeo Festival + Awards in New York. Winners were announced in nine major categories. But the best of the show was a simple six-minute documentary that chronicled the love between a dog and his owner. Documentarian Eliot Rausch’s “Last Minutes of Oden,” is a story about a terminally ill dog and his owner’s decision to end his suffering. Its gritty story line and simple videography will leave you in tears as owner Jason Wood tells the story of how his dog, Oden, shared his life and helped him cope. For more: see this MediaPost article
